From Kreuztal Germany’s Krombacher Brauerei comes their “Krombacher Non-Alcoholic Pils”. The beer pours a golden colour with a white head and lots of carbonation. The aroma consists of citrus, grassiness, sweetness and a biscuity malt finish. The flavour is of citrus, grassy, bready and biscuit malts, with a very mild bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at a minuscule 0.3%. I am not one to drink non-alcoholic beer but this one is worth checking out if you want a good pilsner without the alcohol.

It then goes through a process of de-alcoholisation developed especially in Krombach, which enables the beer to retain the unique aroma which originates during the brewing process. It is no wonder therefore, with these credentials, that this isotonic thirst quencher is the most popular non-alcoholic Pils in Germany!
