From Persephone Brewing Company out of Gibsons BC comes their “Best Bitter”. The bitter pours a deep copper colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of caramel, sweet malts and some earthy hops. The flavour is of caramel, biscuit malts, sweetness and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 40. This is a great bitter with tons of flavour and a great balance.
Commercial Description: Modeled after an English style Summer bitter. Crisp, dry and refreshing, with a light biscuity malty character. A delicate, herbal hop aroma, backed with an assertive bitterness.
